Aged Persimmon Punch
When persimmon ripen in the fall there is no need to go seeking dessert. When introduced to the Oak Bottle, this velvety fruit’s honey-forward notes are encouraged even more to the forefront upon tasting. This mocktail offers a lovely alternative to apple cider in the fall.
Serves 1
- Oak Bottle Mini
- ¼ cup mandarin juice
- 1 large or two small persimmon pureed
- 6 oz soda water
- ¼ tsp Ceylon cinnamon
Preparation
Puree or juice persimmon. If you puree, your mocktail will simply be slightly thicker.
Pour persimmon into Oak Bottle Mini and age for 2 days in the refrigerator.
When ready to serve, chill glasses for a few minutes in the freezer or on-demand by filling with ice, then, dump ice before the next step. Right before pouring mocktail into glass, paint rim of glass with maple syrup and sprinkle cinnamon onto maple syrup.
Pour from Oak Bottle Mini into glass and top with soda water.
